With these words, Goethe describes the "Land Flegrea" because here in Pozzuoli, Cuma, Miseno, Baia, Bacoli, the Averno, the Fusaro, everything is a museum "under the sky "and over the decline of the extinct craters. Among the most important archaeological structures may visit the-Flavian Amphitheater (the third in size in Italy after the Colosseum and that of Capua), the Temple of Serapide, the necropolis of Via Celle and the Temple of Augustus in Pozzuoli; and the pool Mirabile and the Cento Camerelle in Bacoli; the Cave of the Sibilla at Cuma; and the original visit to the monumental remains of the Sunken City Baia and the Portus Julius in Baia; and finally, the Archaeological Museum in the Castle of Baia, which also contains reconstructions of the Sacello ,the Augustali of Misero and imperial Ninfeo undeclared Punta epitaph.
